[00:00:43] Speaker B: For sure. [00:00:44] Speaker C: You trying to get nominated as one of the Top podcasters of 2025. You've been on the platform a lot. [00:00:52] Speaker B: If so now. [00:00:55] Speaker C: In one of our episodes, previous episodes, we talked about, like, relationship stuff, marriage stuff, you know what I'm saying? Knowing who you are, why you are, what you should, what you shouldn't do. You. You touched down on. On the sports platform. [00:01:12] Speaker B: And. [00:01:13] Speaker C: And no matter what, this is one thing that. This is one thing that Penrose is going to do. If y'all don't know this. Penrose will give you real life events. He will point out his flaws. [00:01:28] Speaker B: He. [00:01:29] Speaker C: He will highlight his. His. His attributes. Right? Right. So he's never shy on sharing what he needs to share. Right? But now. Now he's in the lion's den, or if y'all want to go to Zodiac route, he, he, he. He's standing next to a goat right here. Literally one of the greatest of all time. Shout out to me and shout out to Capricorns, especially the December ones. You January Capricorns. Y'all niggas worrying me sometimes, but it don't matter. I could talk about y'all. Nobody else could talk about y'all. Y'all go to war. I'm going to war with you. But just know this. There's a difference between the December and the January. Capricorn. Watch them niggas over there in January. Just watch them. That's all I'm saying. That's all I'm saying. You gotta watch. You gotta watch them January Capricorns. Them is crazy. All right? Y'all think Capricorns in general is crazy. Go watch them. January. [00:02:36] Speaker B: No, you're right. January Capricorn. Something different. [00:02:39] Speaker C: Yeah, them is different over there. Shout out to Je. My jar. Yeah, we got some cold Capricorns. Capricorns gotta be top two Zodiacs of all time. You agree? [00:02:53] Speaker B: Time too. Yeah, I mean, Virgo is just. [00:02:57] Speaker C: That's what I'm saying. Virgos is right behind us. I mean, I like Virgos. I'm married to a Virgos. [00:03:07] Speaker B: We the. [00:03:08] Speaker C: They. They some solid people, all right. They some Solid people. All right, Pinrose, I got you here. I think you gonna. I think you gonna start off this series. I'm gonna start a series. I'm gonna switch it up. Cause I could do whatever I want on my platform, but I want to have more real and intimate talks and. But I just don't want to keep y'all that long, you know what I'm saying? But I wanna. I wanna head towards the therapy session a little bit. [00:03:37] Speaker B: All right. [00:03:38] Speaker C: My number one question to you right now, it's what's holding you back from being a person that you really want to be right now? [00:03:50] Speaker B: What's holding me back from being a person I really want to be? Yeah, I don't think anything is holding me back. [00:03:56] Speaker C: Nothing is holding you back right now. [00:03:58] Speaker B: I mean, if I. If I hold. [00:04:00] Speaker C: If that's your answer, I have to accept it. I just. I just want to make sure. [00:04:04] Speaker B: I mean. Yeah, I'm going to say nothing's holding me back because I believe nothing can hold you back other than you. And if you're holding you back, it's a problem. You know what I mean? [00:04:14] Speaker C: Yeah, but that's. If you teach in the class. I'm just talking about you. [00:04:18] Speaker B: No, I don't think anything's holding me back. I think I need to put the work in, but I don't think anything is holding me back. I think the things that were holding me back, like work through my life and got those issues out the way because there was times where I wanted to be back on the scene. I wanted to do this and do that, and I had to realize that we had to fix certain areas of life first before we can stand up the way we want to. Because if we trying to stand up on shaky ground, all we're going to do is keep falling. [00:04:47] Speaker C: I guess that eliminates question number two. Then. [00:04:51] Speaker B: Why is that? What's question number two? [00:04:52] Speaker C: This question number two is, do you think there's a better. I had the correct term in my head. Oh, there it goes. Do you think there's a better version of you? [00:05:05] Speaker B: I think there's a better version. I think you can always be a better version of yourself or make a better version of yourself. I don't think you should sell out or change the things that you're good at. Amplify them. Always learn something new. Find something that you don't know, but that you're comfortable with and learn. And you can always be a better version of yourself. Correct. [00:05:24] Speaker C: That's what you tell it. That's what you telling Me to do. I'm telling. I'm asking you, though. I'm asking you. [00:05:31] Speaker B: You, you. You. [00:05:32] Speaker C: Cause you giving me. You giving me the dictionary, like, route, like. I know what. I know what a different version is. I know what we can. I know what a different version can be. But I'm saying, for you personally, is there a. Is there a. A better version of Penrose out there right now? [00:05:52] Speaker B: I mean, a better version than me right now out there? No, they can't be, because there's only one me. [00:05:56] Speaker C: When I say out there, I'm talking about you, though. You. [00:06:02] Speaker B: Okay, well, in a way that you asked when I'm gonna say no, because the answer I get. I gave. I get what you meant when you say I'm giving the dictionary answer. So what I will say is, no, there isn't a better version of me. I am where I am because of the decisions I've made, and I feel like I'm where I am, where I'm supposed to be. So I'm the best that I am. That I can be in 2024. Can I be better? Yes. But is there a better version of me out there right now? No. I am the best. [00:06:31] Speaker C: So this is the best version of you, but you could do better? [00:06:35] Speaker B: Yeah, you. Because we talking right here in the moment, at every moment, you should have been pushing it to be the best, but at the end of the day, we all falter at points, we all backslide at points. You know what I mean? So whoever you are in that moment, as long as you've been putting the work in, that is the best version of you. [00:06:52] Speaker C: Okay. Okay, last question. If you stop right now, I'm not talking about death or anything morbid, but if you just stop right now, if you stop your life right now, where is that? Where we're at right now, Are you pleased with your legacy? [00:07:10] Speaker B: No. No. [00:07:14] Speaker C: Okay. [00:07:14] Speaker B: I want to do more. I definitely want to do more. [00:07:18] Speaker C: So you. [00:07:19] Speaker B: End of the day, I really don't ever want to stop. [00:07:22] Speaker C: You want. So you want to do more. And there is a. There is. Wait. So you want to do more, but there isn't a better version of you, is all. You. You're at the version that. This is the best version version of you and what, you want to do more. [00:07:43] Speaker B: But if I do. If I do more, I make a new, better version where I'm at right now, yes, this is the best payrolls I can be in this exact moment. But if I. If I want to excel and do more, then I make a better Me. [00:07:59] Speaker C: Okay? [00:08:00] Speaker B: Everything has to be in real time. A lot of times we're like, what if in the future and when the kids are gone and all that. Nah. Right now, the only thing that matters at any given time is right now. Tomorrow don't matter until we get here. Yesterday is gone. Right now is the only thing that matters. So what you do in that moment? When I wake up tomorrow, I'm gonna be in another moment. If I decide to learn something, then in that moment, I'll become a better version of me. But looking to say, is there a better version of me out there? You're setting yourself up with false expectations. We all have goals. [00:08:33] Speaker C: But. [00:08:34] Speaker B: But the goal is to hear me that that's a journey. So you will become a better you. But no, there is no better you than you right now. But because you want to do more does not mean that you cannot become a better you. Okay, but you just become that better you when you complete that goal. [00:08:53] Speaker C: Okay, bonus question before we get out of here. You did a phenomenal job, by the way. [00:08:59] Speaker B: Thank you. [00:09:00] Speaker C: Bonus question. I want you to pick any current event or any past event in our lifetime, no matter what it is. It could be a sports moment, it could be a celebrity moment. It could be a personal moment. But I want you to pick one, share the details, and tell me what you would do to change it if you didn't like the outcome. So, for example, if I had to pick off the top of my brain, I will pick the Nicole murder. OJ not saying he did it, but if he was there, I would have tried to stop him and just tell him, dog, hey, let's go to Denny's. Let's get up some pancakes. Let's talk about this, bro. Let's talk about. Let's talk this over. [00:10:07] Speaker B: If I could change it, I'd ask God to somehow give me the access to call Kobe and say, bro, please drive today. Please drive today. [00:10:22] Speaker C: Yeah. [00:10:23] Speaker B: I've never understood how you commit somebody that you ain't never laid eyes on until Kobe died. [00:10:28] Speaker C: Yeah, man, that was a rough day. [00:10:33] Speaker B: Gotta be it. [00:10:34] Speaker C: That's a rough day. Yeah, man. All right. Penrose, something I did not ask you in the previous episodes that we did. Where's my manners? But I also like people that go and do the hard work. It's kind of like when you listen to K dot and you hear a verse and you know you got to go to YouTube to break some of that down, right? Where can they find you at? [00:11:06] Speaker B: I'm not on Twitter as much, but if you want to find me there, you can find me at Penrose, Eames. Everywhere else at Penrose, especially on ig. You can find some old motivational videos that. And I will get back into that soon. But, yeah, listen, there's no better feeling than when somebody ran up on me and say that or say, good morning, you beautiful serendipitous, and let me know that I did my job. You know what I mean? [00:11:31] Speaker C: All day. All day. Well, brother, I'm glad you came through once again. And I'm glad you. You shared your truth, the whole truth, and nothing but the truth, for sure. [00:11:44] Speaker B: I appreciate you for having me, bro. [00:11:46] Speaker C: Yeah. Hey, remember, anytime you come out here, just watch which hat you wear, you know? [00:11:51] Speaker B: No doubt. [00:11:52] Speaker C: Be careful. Be careful what hat you wear. Okay.
