In retrospect we kinda did some things that I couldn’t and wouldn’t defend in today’s world. It definitely was a time and place for it but looking back at it, we were wild’n out.

[00:00:00] Speaker A: Go out to LA Comin from the city where no pity is. Shell. [00:00:04] Speaker B: Shell. [00:00:04] Speaker A: Somebody need to do a song for la. [00:00:06] Speaker B: Straight up. [00:00:13] Speaker A: Hello, my name is Elaine and I'll be your tour guide through South Central Los Angeles. Look, count my no and smoke up. I'm from California, where you from? So what? I'm from California, Cal. California. California, this is Los Angeles. [00:00:30] Speaker B: Well, where. So for me, in order to keep my brother's friends in the friend zone so they know there's no chance in hell we will ever be more, I purposely fart around them so they treat me like one of the boys. I want them to be so repulsed by me that they stop any sexual idea or attraction when it comes to me. Because I don't want to be attached to a person that's attached to my brothers as friends. It's protection. [00:01:12] Speaker A: That's wild thing to say to anybody that's considered a human. Seriously though, let's get down to it. That really, it really tampers my temper, right? I don't even know if that's a thing. But there are certain things that people do that you yourself just seriously can't stand. It boils you, you know what I mean? Like sometimes you might lose a couple of minutes of sleep over it, but it's something that you just don't fuck with at all. It's an automatic fail at the dmv. Right. I'm gonna go through a couple of things. One, you know, just as a warm up. I hate when my wife has done this too, but it's even more nerve wracking when somebody else do it that's not my wife. If I'm at work or if I'm in a setting with some people or something like that. I think it's okay. Depending on who's asking and what is why and why it's been asking. But when I'm asked, oh you at work, like who you around? That kind of bothers me. I'm gonna tell you why. Because how awkward is it for me to say, oh yeah, I'm here with my, I'm here with my co worker, such and such, but that's it, you know what I'm saying? Like I'm not bringing that person up for them to say hi to you or anything like that. You just want to know who's over there. But if it doesn't, if it doesn't benefit you, then why are you asking me? Because now I feel cringe giving you. I'm not going, I'm not going to answer it, but it's like, why put me in a position to bring somebody up that's right there for what? I never understood that part. You know what I mean? Like, who's there with the why, huh? I don't know why, maybe. [00:03:14] Speaker B: Or. [00:03:14] Speaker A: Or I could be weird. I could be weird. Maybe that's a weird thing for me. But that bothers me. Like, why are you asking me? You know, the other thing is when you make. When you whisper a joke because you don't want the joke that's about that person to hear it, but you want to, but you will. You saying it to me because you want me to laugh. My cousin is. Is. Is. Is. Is famous for that. He would sit up there and say something, but he would say something not wanting the other person to hear it, but for me to hear it so I could laugh. But it's like, it's kind of bad whispering. If you can't whisper, that's gonna make me mad. Because the objective of whispering is for you to get the joke off. And I only hear it, but if everybody else hear it but you trying to whisper, it's a failed mission. We're caught. We're caught. It's over. We're going to jail, okay? I hate that shit, bro. I hate when niggas don't know how to whisper. Don't whisper at all. Then text me the joke. Okay, that's irritating. Now the other one. This is what really burns the bridges right here. If. If I invite you into a space, don't get too comfortable, to where you start sharing personal information amongst new ears. I hate that. I hate that I bring you around the circle or my group of friends or whatever the case may be. These familiar people I know, but you the new person. And you might not be new to me, but you new to them. I'm bringing you into a sacred space. And then you start coming up with jokes and on me to fit in with the crowd. No, we're gonna jump you or I'm gonna want to jump you. I'm never. You never bring you over because why. Why are you. Why are you Judas jokes? Why are you Judas jokes in me right now? You know what I'm saying? Just be cool. Fit in my know how to switch the topic or know how to fit in the topic. Don't make me the topic of jokes amongst my friends because it comes off as phony to me. It could be funny. Now that's the thing. It gotta be funny. If it's not funny, you should get socked for not being funny. If it's funny. All right, cool. But then if it turns to a point where you just trying to roast me, I'm gonna have to get. Now I'm gonna get on you, and I don't like it. That to me, that's a character flaw. The character flaw is that you gotta. You trying to be comfortable and are you a little too comfortable? And the easy thing is, man, let me just go in on this and just stay here. So. No, nigga, that's. That's. That's. That's trash, my nigga. We kicked the nigga out of the group chat for being stupid like that. Kick niggas out, right out. Once you start acting different, boop. You gotta go. Once we see a personality trait that's missing or a little bit off, you gotta roll my. That's not. We not cool. That's why in a certain. Is just kept in a certain place. Like, I understand some people say they don't use the word friend loosely because friend really. Friend, really. The word friend really means something I don't think it really meant to me. I don't think it really meant the same for me because that was like really, really close friends was considered family, you know what I'm saying? But I understand ain't too many words you can come with, come up with associates, co workers, whatever the case, you know, however you describe. Some use the friend strong. I mean, the. The word friends. Seriously, it's a strong word and stuff like that. Some people don't, but I got like, subcategories and sitting like the friend under the friend word, you know what I'm saying? That's my nigga, you know what I'm saying? But even that, even you say, that's my nigga, that could be taken in so many different ways. Like, that's the nigga that you just know that's my nigga that I hoop with. Or that's my nigga, you know what I'm saying? Depending on how you said. And if you want to elaborate on that, that's on you. But some people can interpret it as a day one type of nigga. No, I ain't got too many of those. I really don't. That's on one hand, less than one hand. Day one niggas, you know what I'm saying? And then after that, everybody else is suspects. Everybody outside of my day ones are suspects. You might be a cool suspect, but you're still the suspect. Because if somebody died in this house, we all got to guess who it was. And I'm Going after the niggas that I wasn't day ones with. All right? The second one is personal space. My. Hey, learn how to read people's body language. And some people don't be in the mood to be talking, okay, Carry on in conversation and. And stuff like that. But you gotta go. Especially if you're a person that talk about personal life all the damn time. Hey, hey, man, you gotta. You gotta. Smash said it's been several years of him reading the room wrong, and I'm starting to understand that some of you niggas just don't understand. You can't. You gotta come in reading the room properly. Just don't come in and just read the room. Cause you could read some shit and don't understand it. That's Smash. You. You could read a book, you could read a joke, you could read off the chalkboard and don't understand the answer. Don't understand how we got. So when he says read the room, understand what the you reading? You come in there, you see, if you see AirPods automatically, believe I'm listening to a concert automatically or a podcast, okay? Make a. Make a gesture, peace sign, thumb sign, wave. You know, tap me on my shoulder and say, well, so give me the head nod. Just don't start going into your day or asking how I'm doing. And my volume is on ignorant, okay? Because it's going. I don't want you to feel bad and not saying that. I'm really, you know, looking out for your feelings and shit like that. It's just more so of. You know what I'm saying? You look crazy talking to me and I'm not saying anything. You know what I'm saying? And then, then, see, I do this to my wife, but I'm married to her. And that's. And that's what comes with marriage, is that you gotta allow some weird shit to happen. I will come up with an idea in my head and start talking about it, agreeing with it in the middle of the sentence, and expect her to just pick up from there. And I know that's kind of crazy and stupid. She's learned how to do that too. It might be the tism. But none of you suspect niggas. Do that. Don't do that. Don't. Don't come in there and be like, hey, just started yapping at the mouth, bro. I'm doing something because half of the time I don't want to talk to y'. [00:10:04] Speaker B: All. [00:10:05] Speaker A: I'm just going to tell you, I'm going to be honest Half the time I don't want to talk to y'. All. The other half, I'm probably really listening to something and stuff like that. But I'm also a person that is aware of shit. I know that. I know when somebody's about to walk in a room or not saying that I got the. I got superpowers. But I'm saying, like, if I'm at work, I know when somebody's coming in around the time that they're going to come in. I know they coming in around this time. So I'm going to, you know, I'm going to say, hey, I'm. I'm going to make myself aware of their presence, you know what I'm saying? So when they come in, I'm a wave and shit like that. But if I wave and say, what's up? And put my head back down, that means I'm listening to. I'm listening to the rap round table. Do not interfere. Me listening to the rap roundtable right now. And it's on YouTube. Okay, I don't feel like pausing. YouTube is visuals. I'm watching them podcast. Don't. Don't take my high as. All right, now let me then share a paragraph. No, don't do that. Don't. Sometimes I don't want to talk to you. I don't, you know what I'm saying? And it's crazy because I'll be at the market and something, you know, and some people are just like that, man. Some people would just start, oh, you know, the other thing that I really don't like is you niggas that complain in line this past. No, Was it the 4th or 4th of July or something like that? We went to. I went to go pick up some food from, from Lucille's, from, From my mother in law to go drop it off, right? Just go get us some barbecue. And we had a certain pickup time to go get it. And I got there at around that time. But it was a line. Apparently a lot of people was on that time. A lot of people was on that type of time. And so I was there for roughly 20 minutes, you know, and it was people in line and I hate them and they always end up talking to me. Why do you that complain in line? Talk as if you want the person to agree with you. Like, dang, maybe they should have more people. They. We all know that they should have more people at a register at the fucking grocery store. We all know they should have a different method, but if you don't have that fucking answer Then you shut up. Yes, there is a different method that you can come up with to deliver all these meals. But guess what? That's not extra cooks that they got. You know what I'm saying? This. You think about it, my Nigga, it's the 4th of fucking July. Everybody was on the same type of time. Everybody's ordering the same thing. They going to eventually run out. So it's like they tell you come pick your up at 12:15. Probably don't pull up till about 12:30 or 12:35. Then I bet you your might be ready, you know what I'm saying? Then got attitudes that they food ain't ready yet. You just ordered for seven people. You just ordered for Lester and. And Dante, Shamika and they all eat ribs. So wait, you know what I'm saying? But you know, people don't be thinking like that. But I hate you that. And I hate you that complain too. Like complaining is cool. You can get away with so much complaining until it's like. If it's some complaining that you doing, but you could fix it. What the. Just fix it. Then it's gonna. If it's gonna take a while. But niggas don't want to hear that. I'm gonna tell you what complaining does to me. It brings me down. Cause it's like my. It's just. It is the complaining is before you give up. And I don't want to give up in this point in my life. So when I hear some that's getting close to that, I just automatically tune out. I'm probably gonna try to give you some advice or some uplifting. But if you continue to complain around me, my. My God, they could be happy about something. Be happy about something. What are you complaining about all this? You're gonna complain all the time. You not happy about Nathan. God damn my. Come on, bro. Come on. Work on your personality or something. I don't know. But God damn it, that was it. I just. Hey, a little TED talk real quick. Don't let these get away with that. Separate yourself, get some distance. Hey, all that toxic we learned and we didn't been through. You can fix that right now. It's gonna piss off a lot of people. But I guarantee, nigga, you ain't. I promise you don't need everybody. I promise you that it's going to feel much better when you start worrying about other people and they problems and like that and you create. It's not just a boundary. It's a strong mental wall that you build to where you know how Advent eventually stop calling you to go to the club? Remember that time period where you had a couple of them that hey, what you doing? And we about to Are you trying to. You trying to do it? You trying to. And then eventually phone calls stop. They stop and look at you. You having fun. Going out there engulfing and have fun, man. Stop complaining like a.
